У онлайн-сервисов Crunchyroll и Wakanim будет один владелец

У онлайн-сервисов Crunchyroll и Wakanim, которые работают в России, будет один владелец — компания Sony. А всё потому, что компания AT&T согласилась продать ей (а вернее, принадлежащей ей Funimation Global Group) Crunchyroll за $ 1,175 млрд. Об этом официально было объявлено вчера.

На сайте онлайн-сервиса было опубликовано сообщение генерального менеджера Crunchyroll Джоан Воге:

Мы рады отправиться в это новое путешествие. Компания Crunchyroll создала бренд мирового уровня, насчитывающий более 3 миллионов подписчиков, 50 миллионов подписчиков в социальных сетях и 90 миллионов зарегистрированных пользователей. Эти удивительные фанаты помогли сделать аниме мировым явлением.

Сочетание силы бренда Crunchyroll и опыта нашей глобальной команды с Funimation — захватывающая перспектива и победа для невероятного вида искусства аниме.
